Report a Policy Violation
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Never know quite what category to put these things in. Anyway.
I did most of these ages (well, just over a year) ago, but the expansion set came out recently so all the Brood War units are new; minis from Starcraft: The Board Game. (there are 228 of them now with the expansion). Fun Fun. All painted with citadel paints, with a nice glossy coat to protect them from the rigors of gaming . . . (and make them pop a little more). The infantry are about half the size of a 40K marine, scale-wise. Red Terran have a starport because . . . well, I felt like building one. Made mostly from tank pieces and other leftover model bits. It's a thoroughly enjoyable game, so for those of you who feel so inclined I highly recommend it. Photos are fairly adjusted levels-wise but other than that no touching up in PS. Damn fluoro lights for photography... Not the best. ALSO! There's an interview I did up here about the process, along with some turnaround gifs. Enjoy! edit... I have to point out, I didn't actually make these, aside from the starport, only painted them; the models are done by the fine folks over at Fantasy Flight Games as part of the Starcraft Board Game. |
