What would've been my entry into the Fan Art competition at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris this weekend, until I discovered (much to my disappointment) that it was only open to residents of the EU and thereabouts . . .
Still, it was a good chance for me to try something (slightly) different, at least stylistically if not thematically. The inks are rather Frank Miller-style, and I wanted to go for a more colourful old comic almost perhaps Moebius-inspired mode of, well, colouring, than usual. (it was quicker that way, too, which is always nice, though I'm not sure about the total - perhaps 15 hours?) |
