SO!
the other day I decided to finally (having wanted to for quite a while now) got some leftover super sculpey from my sister (who also very graciously procured me some more from her uni when I ran out of the first lot) and sat down to do some sculpting, which I've not done for a very very long time (unless you count a tiny amount of frustrating green stuff application on some warhammer models, though it's been ages since I've done even that); this stuff, thankfully, is wondrously better than green stuff, and I got right into the swing of it.
I've probably spent about 20 hours on this guy over the last 3 days, starting with a wire armature (and only connecting it to the baseplate about halfway through), using almost exclusively one of those modeling tools you can get from games workshop stores and occasionally a scraperboard scraper or scalpel; he's 14 cm (just under 6") tall.
There are a couple of little tweaks to do before he gets baked, and I'm going to lean him backwards a bit 'cause my armature wasn't quite as solid as I'd've liked and there's a bit of flex in his torso, meaning he's leaning a bit too far forwards in these pics.
Anyways; since it's my first major undertaking of this sort, crit away! He's still soft so there's still time for (not-major, preferably ) adjustments; looking forwards to painting him (though I'm not quite sure about colours yet; suggestions?)
enjoy!
EDIT: There are some progress photos and some bigger pics available here for those who're interested.
