INdeed. Photoshop seems to have grabbed me somewhat recently - always a good thing.
A few hours...
Inspired by HOON's 'shuriken' bike, mostly; originally it was going to just be a bot, but I couldn't get the head looking right so . . . the ergonomics'd be somewhat out.

Oh well. enjoy.
(and no, I don't know how the front leg works.)

EDIT.
A top view's added, just to see how it went.
Organically shaped armour's all well and good, but when it comes to actually working it out from any other angle it's always somewhat more difficult.
I'm not as happy with it as the side-view, because it's far less spontaneous . . . and I couldn't get away with just adjusting the forms because the shadows didn't quite work... anyway.
Done.

You know what i think when i see this, how original i know, but it misses gravity boosters, the legs support in stationary mode, and fold in when the grav-booster starts to kick in, imagine the lower leg parts fold in a bit, and maybe support some sort of gravity field or balancing nodes so it doesnt flip over (hence 2 legs on the back and 1 centred in the front, 3 points spread out evenly, works great for stability)

Only needs some minor adjustement to the joints if this all would be the case.

I see concept of the future way of driving here, this model, in that way, would be perfectly able to do what it should do then, and be fast as hell, grav-booster ftw :D

very interesting vehicle extremely unique and original. the engine must spin a dynamo or some kinda energy cuz it certainly would not be working the wheels directly. it would be inefficient next to a actual bike. it would take more energy to move that and won't move as fast. the advantage it would have over a bike with wheels is that it can handle extreme terraineee but of course it'll have to have sensors and a computer to process and calculate whats infront to tell how to use its leg for everystep, how much and how little mainly if it were going over very bumpy terraine. very cool idea though i am diggin this alot

Hehe... Thankye kindly (and for the +devwatch :D )

Yeah, I can't see it working overly well, honestly, but . . . I really don't know how that front leg would work, though; since it'd have to lift off the ground, obviously, it'd have to somehow balance only on the back two, which isn't so great from a centre-of-gravity point of view... So it'd probably have to sort of jump a bit in order to move anywhere... Which I can't imagine'd be particularly comfortable for the rider... Perhaps I should have left it as a bot...

i think its good that you showed that unique idea as a vehicle instead of robot. but that was soo original people might try to steal it. thats my only complaint about posting stuff up. i won't post up my best work because i like my ideas to be mine and not someone else taking it and turning it to their own.
