4th Company by Mr--Jack 4th Company by Mr--Jack
Big file! or something like that.

Anyway, thought I'd put these up since someone requested a look; there are a couple of minis I'd like to re-photograph and put up, and a couple that aren't here at all which is a pity (including 2 tanks and 2 dreadnoughts), but I don't have them with me currently, plus I should probably go to bed some time soon.

So! The company that the other marine belongs to, some obscure splinter succession mingling of dark and blood angels, even though neither insignia's overly present on most of the tactical marines.
I've got quite a few other things that are in-progress that hopefully I'll find some free time to complete soonish; feeling in the mood for it again.

Can`t find anything wrong with them. Which mean you did an awesome job. The painting is crisp yet doesn't look two dimensional. Yep, that's an awesome apint job.

Reminds me of my Volcanis Company. Mechrite Red w/ Bleached Bone trim, quadrant for sergeants, and Boltgun Metal details, Ultramarine blue for specialized items. The idea is the Raven Gaurd and Ultramarines got stuck fighting together in a huge battle, but many elements got so dislocated and mish-mashed that the dislocated elements formed a new company to maintain cohesion.

Nice work.

Hmm like create your own version of the Death company in your Chapter like a Second company that basically consists of shock troops?

Definetly one of the coolest and richest game universes around. Nice poses and painting. It would be interesting to see you mix photos and digital painting.

For some odd reason I can't explain, your avatar reminds me of Half Life.

Back on topic, I need to investigate more about the 40K board game.

Played the first RTS on the PC, never bothered to check the original out o.0

Also, your customization is awesome :thumbs up:

Thanks Jack, now I have to go buy more marines to paint. Thanks for instigating my spending habits in a game I haven't played in years. :D

Love the Terminators and Dreadnought the most. What'd you do to the bases though? Looks good.

Simply, yet awesome. I tried it out and it turned out pretty decent, might toss up some pictures tomorrow, but thanks for the idea. I never thought of trying that. Gotta love how even just being a quarter inch taller makes them look even bigger then the infantry.

If you're attempting to fit some sort of canonical rule to the structure then yeah, though I'd be surprised if some semi-legitimate sounding backstory couldn't be found :)

I tend to try follow the codex and unless your using dark angels or wolves thats how the structure works. my self I like the wolves just for the rable.

Awesome! Thanks for the peek! I'm working on the painting process right now, and its loads of fun! I really like your too. This is a very original color scheme, and loads better than the standard "Enchanted Blue" scheme. Awesome work. My favorite is the Dreadnought.

Cheers! Haha, yeah, the Ultramarines can get a bit staid I guess, though I still like their colour scheme—I guess 'cause that's what I mostly associate the marines as...

And I'd say that'd have a fair bit to do with the awesomeness of the Forge World model, but yeah that was a lot of fun to paint :D
